Consciousness brings questions and confusion along with it. The air is cold, so it must bring a shiver to be aware of it. The light has dark, and the wind has barriers. The sea will rise, and the ground will fight to be seen. As the door opens, you will enter. The walls keep you closed, so you’ll have to break them. The trees stay rooted, so they can learn to balance.

Sit down. You have your whole life to stand. The blue sky stretches from here to there. From you to me. The birds fly between us. The trees thrive around us. The grass grows beneath us. Ask yourself why you feel you need to stand right now. Sit down for a moment. Take a breath and sit down. You're being too hard on yourself. You don’t always have to stand up. It’s okay to sit down and look around. Why must you always stand up?

How large is this world we live in? Do you think you could even cover it in a lifetime? Every inch, every mile. Day to night. When the stars fade and the sun rises. What about what’s beyond it all? Past the day and night. Through the stars and across the galaxy. Do you ever wonder what’s here and what’s there? Look around, can you see it? What does it say? The wind blows, but what does it carry? It’s whispering something. Are you listening? Listen, it’s saying something.
