Do you ever stop to smell the flowers?

Those words blow towards me, into my ears, throughout my head,

so I stop to smell the flowers

He’s having a stressful day

She’s so tired working a 9 to 5

They never stop to enjoy the little things in life

So I stop to smell the flowers

The bills are coming up

The weather is a little rough

I have no idea what I am doing

So stop and smell the flowers

I get you get so caught up

Your body aches and by the time you take a break you already have to wake up

Your tears crawl down your cheeks when outside the moon speaks

Stop and smell the flowers

Wipe those tears away

There’s beauty in an average day
