happy Monday! I hope all is well and wonderful in your life. I wish each of you the absolute best! Here is to the very first Monday 2.1.4! I am so very excited to start writing this for all of you!

So you're probably wondering what is the Monday 2.1.4 and why is it "214"?

Well, I'm so glad you asked!

The Monday 2.1.4 is going to be a weekly guide. It will consist of 2 tips, 1 question, and 4 goals for the week. The number 214 has a special place In my heart. It's one of my lucky numbers. It's the number I see when things are going right and it's also my birthday! I was sitting here trying to think of something fun to offer you and this came to mind. I love asking questions to get reflections and how lovely is it that we'll be doing that and setting intentions for the week with it! Super cool!

This week's 2.1.4 will be focused on

INSPIRATION!

So let's get into it!

2 Tips

1 Question to ask yourself

4 Goals for the week

  1. Remember who you are

Okay, hear me out! Of course, you know who you are. If someone asked me who I am, I could say, Angelina Young, right? That's my name, so that's what I'd say. Well, that's not all that I am and your name isn't the only thing about you.

When we want to feel more inspired we can look at who we are within our soul, within our core. Sometimes we get sidetracked and become misaligned from what we love and that's okay, it's a part of life!

The first step of getting ourselves back in alignment is to notice we are out of it. Then we make our moves to get back in motion. But how do we do that?

That's an amazing question! We look at what lights us up! The things that make us... well us!

Think about the hobbies, activities, and dreams you are or were passionate about. The things we are interested in are road maps to our life purpose. We're pulled to them for a reason. Our interests are the roots of our creativity, it forms our inspiration!

Sometimes, seeing all the things I love listed out helps me understand the topics that draw me in. For example, I love Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, Demon Slayer, One Piece, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Ranking of Kings, and Alice in Wonderland (to name a few). All of them are imagination-based. Each of them has an adventure to embark on and secrets to uncover. Many of the characters in them are out of this world. Magic and surreal elements flow through them. And they all have captured my attention in one way or another.

Just by listing these shows, you can gather a bit about my interests... that's what I want you to do for yourself! Reconnect with the hobbies you once loved but haven't done in ages. Consider the passions that draw you in. Realize and realign with what makes you, YOU! When we work with what we love, we can't help but keep going and rolling down our path full of excitement!

  1. Change things up

I'm such an advocate for shaking things up and embracing change! I love change!

Think of it like the cycles of life. The seasons. The moon phases. Ourselves. Everything is constantly changing. Change is a necessary part of life. When we feel uninspired it may be because we've been stagnant for far too long. A change of pace, scenery, or people could be the answer.

Ask yourself: What would I try/change if fear wasn’t a concern? And then switch it up!

Things are easier said than done when you fear trying. Many of us are living lives we don't like. We're living lives of what is expected from others but not the lives we love living.

And honestly, I ask: Why are we living lives we don't love? Why care about what others think if they don't love us for being ourselves?

If you're holding back who you are out of fear of judgment, it might be time to reevaluate the people you have surrounding you. Change isn't scary once we embrace the cycle and follow our hearts.

Doing what we love and feel called to gives off a beautiful energy. It’s better for everyone when we follow our passions and interests because it creates happiness, and happiness is contagious.

Being on the edge of your comfort zone is where you find growth. Growth is a level-up in life experience usually followed by excitement. And what do exciting experiences create? Stories! Memories! Inspiration for creation!

  1. What’s an area within yourself or outside of yourself that you haven’t tapped into for inspiration?

  1. Try something new!

  1. Create a list of things that make you, YOU!

  1. Laugh a little bit more.

  1. Treat yourself to something special.
